Temporary Accounts Payable (AP) Clerk – 16-Week Assignment
Location: Dealership in the Mission, TX area
Pay Rate: $13.00/hr
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch)
Duration: Approximately 16 weeks (12-week maternity leave coverage + training period)
Position Summary
We are seeking a Temporary Accounts Payable Clerk to support a dealership in the Mission area during a maternity leave period. This role will begin as soon as possible to allow ample time for training on the DMS system, internal policies, processes, and month-end procedures. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and able to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities

Reconcile vendor statements and issue payments (weekly/monthly)

Issue referral checks to customers

Post vendor invoices

Post factory payable invoices
-
Route incoming invoices to management for approval prior to posting

Add new AP vendors to the DMS

Post warranty and ESP invoices daily

Verify invoice accuracy in Parts Rec before posting in the DMS

Review, clean, and maintain schedules

Assist with month-end procedures to ensure timely and accurate closing
