Data Entry Specialist – Logistics & Trade
Location: McAllen, TX
Pay Rate: $13.00 per hour
Mon-Fri 10:30am-7:30pm
Saturday (rotation half day), Sunday (on call, as needed from home)
About the Role:
Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Data Entry Specialist for a logistics and trade company. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and experienced in handling import/export documentation, compliance, and data entry with accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:

Process client invoices to generate manifests, Shipper Export Declarations, and related documentation.

Verify and review data for accuracy, including USMCA certificates and CBP-required documents.

Submit entry documents and ensure compliance with customs regulations.

Provide customer service and coordinate with clients/departments on entry approvals and releases.

Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and CTPAT standards.
Qualifications:
-
Previous experience in data entry, logistics, trade, or customs processing preferred.

Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.

Ability to manage sensitive information with confidentiality.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Familiarity with CBP, DIS, TSCA statements, or USMCA certificates is a plus.

Strong communication and customer service skills.
