Job Title: Accounting Clerks / Accounts Payable
Pay: $13.00 – $16.00 per hour (DOE)
Locations: Palmview, Pharr, Edinburg & Mission, TX
Schedule: Monday–Friday, standard business hours

Position Overview:
We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Accounting Clerks / Accounting Assistants to support office and finance operations for multiple departments. This position performs a mix of accounts receivable, accounts payable, file organization, audit preparation, and general administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pull, organize, and maintain financial documents.
- Assist with audit preparation, data summarizing, and recordkeeping.
- Generate and distribute customer invoices.
- Process payments (checks, credit cards, electronic transfers).
- Reconcile A/R ledgers and follow up on outstanding balances.
- Investigate billing discrepancies and resolve customer issues.
- Process vendor invoices, code and post transactions, and balance financial documents.
- Prepare spreadsheets and support month-end processes.
- Assist with special projects or other finance tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; coursework or degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Experience in A/R, A/P, or general accounting roles preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook.
- Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks Online preferred).
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Strong communication skills; bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
