Job Title: Custodian – 2nd Shift
Location: Edinburg, TX
Pay Rate: $13.50 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM | Flexibility required as needed
Company Overview:
A well-established facility in Edinburg, TX is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Custodian for their second shift operations. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in janitorial work and basic maintenance, especially in floor care and facility upkeep.
Job Duties:
- Perform daily custodial tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and restroom sanitation
- Strip, wax, and maintain floors using appropriate machinery and supplies
- Assist with minor building repairs, equipment maintenance, and general upkeep
- Support vehicle inspections, car washes, and transport for service as needed
- Help with moving office furniture and completing maintenance work orders
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- At least 1 year of janitorial or industrial cleaning and basic building maintenance experience
- Ability to read and follow written instructions in English
- Experience with floor stripping and waxing is strongly preferred
