Compliance Manager
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $25.00 per hour

Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Compliance Manager to oversee regulatory compliance within our fuel and transportation operations. The ideal candidate will ensure all permits, insurance, safety standards, and driver credentials remain current and compliant with local, state, and federal regulations. This role requires strong organizational skills, industry knowledge, and a customer service-oriented personality.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all company permits and licenses remain active and in full compliance
- Prepare and assist with internal and external audits
- Maintain and monitor insurance documentation and renewals
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Oversee driver credentialing and hiring processes
- Collect and process driver applications and required documentation
- Maintain compliance records and organized documentation systems
- Stay updated on transportation and fuel industry regulations
- Communicate effectively with drivers, staff, and regulatory agencies
Qualifications
- Experience in fuel and/or transportation industry required
- Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards
- Experience preparing for and managing audits
- Strong understanding of permit and insurance requirements
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) required
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
Preferred Skills
- Safety certification or compliance training is a plus
- Experience with driver credentialing and DOT regulations preferred
