Medical Receptionists
$13.00 per hour
McAllen, Texas - Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm
We are looking for a Medical Receptionist to join an established specialty clinic in the McAllen area! The ideal candidate must be professional in their appearance and demeanor, self-motivated, detail orientated, personable, and have a customer service oriented attitude.
General duties:
- working the front desk area greeting patients, visitors & vendors
- answering multi-line phones
- entering patient demographics
- checking patients in and out
- scheduling appointments
- updating patient accounts
- assisting the Medical Assistants & Physicians
- running reports
- responds to inquiries and emails
- communicates effectively with other departments as needed
- oversees patient flow
- cross train as needed
- other duties as assigned
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Prior experience (1-2 years) in a medical office.
- Bilingual, fluent in Spanish preferred.
- It is preferred that the selected Candidate have experience in working with EMR systems.
- Interpersonal skills is a must.
- Consistently pleasant demeanor with providing exceptional customer service.
- Ability to prioritize and work independently.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Attention to detail and follows through with tasks given.
Experience:
- Medical Receptionist: 1-2 years (Preferred)
