We are a growing concrete company located in the Palmview area, dedicated to quality work and supporting our team. We’re looking for a reliable and organized Benefit Specialist to join us in managing our employee benefits programs.
Job Summary:
The Benefit Specialist will be responsible for administering all employee benefit programs, coordinating with insurance brokers, supporting new hire benefit enrollment, and managing the annual open enrollment process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer employee benefit programs (health, dental, vision, life insurance, retirement, etc.)
- Act as the primary contact with insurance brokers and benefit vendors
- Coordinate benefit enrollment for new hires
- Lead the annual open enrollment process and communicate changes to employees
- Process and manage renewals and benefit changes
- Ensure compliance with federal and state benefit regulations
- Respond to employee questions and provide benefits guidance
- Maintain accurate benefits records and documentation
Qualifications:
- Experience with employee benefits, HR, or related field preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with HRIS or benefits systems a plus
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
