Job Title: Produce Sales Representative
Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Produce Sales Representative to join our team. This position is responsible for generating sales, building strong customer relationships, and promoting our fresh produce products to new and existing clients. The ideal candidate has experience in sales, excellent communication skills, and the ability to identify customer needs and provide effective product solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct sales through phone, email, and text communication with prospective and existing customers.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business.
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through lead generation and prospecting.
- Contact new and existing customers to discuss product needs and recommend appropriate produce options.
- Demonstrate knowledge of produce products, including features, availability, and benefits.
- Highlight product advantages and explain how they meet customer needs.
- Answer customer questions regarding products, pricing, and availability.
- Negotiate pricing and terms and prepare sales agreements when necessary.
- Maintain accurate customer contact lists and sales records.
- Follow up with customers regularly to maintain ongoing business relationships and ensure satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Previous sales experience required (produce or food distribution industry is a plus).
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with clients.
- Comfortable with phone-based sales and digital communication (email and text).
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Organized with the ability to manage customer information and follow-ups effectively.
