Auto Parts Clerk / Delivery Driver (Dealership Service Department)
Location: McAllen, TX
Pay: $10.50 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time (Schedule may vary based on business needs)
Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Auto Parts Clerk / Delivery Driver to support the service and parts department of a busy car dealership. This role involves managing parts inventory, assisting with warranty documentation, and delivering parts as needed. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of automotive parts, is highly organized, and works well in a team environment.
Job Duties
- Identify, label, and organize automotive parts accurately
- Assist with warranty documentation and tracking
- Maintain inventory records and ensure proper stock levels
- Deliver parts to technicians, vendors, or other locations as needed
- Keep track of timelines and report updates to the Parts Supervisor
- Assist with receiving, stocking, and organizing incoming parts
- Support team members with general shop and department tasks
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of automotive parts (mechanically inclined required)
- Previous experience in a dealership, parts department, or auto shop preferred
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Attention to detail and ability to track multiple tasks
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Basic computer skills for inventory and documentation
Work Environment
- Dealership service department with a mix of indoor and outdoor work
- May involve walking, lifting, and driving throughout the shift
