Job Title: Junior Accountant
Location: Palmview , Tx
Schedule: Monday – Friday
Compensation: $40,000 Annual Salary
Job Summary
We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join a growing company in the Palmview area. This is a great opportunity for an accounting professional looking to build experience and grow within a professional environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and post journal entries, including payroll journal entries
- Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
- Assist with financial reporting and month-end close processes
- Accurate data entry and maintenance of financial records
- Ensure compliance with accounting procedures and internal controls
- Provide support to the Senior Accountant with daily operations and special projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
- 1–2 years of accounting experience required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- NetSuite experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Eager to learn with a positive and professional attitude
