General Labor / Production Assembler
Location: McAllen, TX (South Area)
Pay: $12.80 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Overtime & Saturdays may be required based on production needs
Express Employment Professionals is hiring dependable General Labor / Production Assemblers for a manufacturing facility in South McAllen. This role involves assembling patio awnings and other heavy fabric products, moving materials, supporting production operations, and maintaining quality and safety standards in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble products and components according to work instructions or blueprints
- Lift, move, and organize materials weighing up to 50 lbs throughout the shift
- Use hand tools, power tools, and production equipment as needed
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
- Report equipment issues, defects, or safety concerns to supervisors
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas
- Assist with maintenance, production support, and general warehouse duties as assigned
- Follow all company safety policies and production procedures
Qualifications
- Previous assembly, manufacturing, warehouse, or production experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently throughout the shift
- Comfortable standing for extended periods and performing repetitive tasks
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools preferred
- Strong attention to detail and dependability required
- Flexible to work overtime and Saturdays as needed
- High school diploma or GED preferred
