2nd Shift Warehouse Janitor / Custodian
Location: McAllen, TX
Pay: $12.00 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time
Express Employment Professionals is seeking a dependable Janitor / Custodian for a local manufacturing facility. This position is responsible for maintaining cleanliness throughout production and machine shop areas by removing dust, debris, oil residue, and other waste materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sweep, mop, and clean production floors, walkways, and work areas.
- Remove oil residue, dust, metal shavings, and other debris from manufacturing areas.
- Degrease machinery and equipment in machine shop departments.
- Empty trash containers and dispose of waste materials properly.
- Maintain clean and organized work areas throughout the facility.
- Follow all safety procedures when using cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Report safety hazards, spills, or maintenance concerns to supervisors.
Qualifications:
- Previous janitorial, custodial or industrial cleaning experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift items throughout the shift
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing and warehouse environment
