Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Diesel Technician Helper to join our clients team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for helpoing diagnosr, repair, and maintain diesel engines and related components.
Responsibilities that you will be helping with include but are not limited to:
- Performing routine maintenance and inspections on diesel engines and systems
- Diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues and performing necessary repairs
- Conducting engine tune-ups and adjustments to ensure optimal performance
- Repairing and replacing worn or damaged parts as needed
- Conducting thorough inspections and tests to identify potential issues
- Adhering to safety protocols and regulations at all times
- Keeping accurate records of maintenance and repair work
- Collaborating with other team members to ensure timely completion of tasks
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a diesel technician program or equivalent work experience is a plus
- Proven experience as a Diesel Technician or similar role
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment
- Knowledge of diesel engine systems, components, and operation
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- At least 2-3 yrs. experience working with diesel engines or equipment
