Senior Telecommunications Technician
We are seeking an experienced Senior Telecommunications Technician to support the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of advanced telecommunications systems. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional with strong technical knowledge and leadership experience in the telecom field.
Key Responsibilities:

Install, maintain, and troubleshoot telecommunications systems including fiber, copper, and wireless infrastructure

Perform testing, splicing, termination, and certification of fiber and copper cabling
-
Diagnose and resolve service outages and system issues efficiently
-
Read and interpret network diagrams, schematics, and blueprints
-
Lead or assist junior technicians and provide on-the-job guidance
-
Ensure all work meets industry standards, safety regulations, and customer specifications
-
Travel to job sites as needed and communicate progress with supervisors and clients
Qualifications:
-
5+ years of experience in telecommunications or low-voltage systems
-
Strong knowledge of fiber optics, structured cabling, and network systems
-
Experience with testing equipment (OTDR, power meters, cable testers, etc.)

Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
-
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred (but not required):

Fiber splicing experience
-
Leadership or crew lead experience
-
Certifications related to telecom, fiber, or structured cabling
