Job Summary

The Office Administrator in our CNC manufacturing facility is responsible for supporting the administrative functions of the office to ensure smooth operations and effective communication between the office and the manufacturing floor. This role focuses on maintaining efficient office systems, handling clerical tasks, and assisting the manufacturing team in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administrative Support: Manage daily office tasks, including scheduling, correspondence, filing, and office supply inventory.

  • Coordination: Act as a point of contact between the office and manufacturing floor, ensuring clear communication and workflow efficiency.

  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records, including employee files, invoices, and inventory documentation.

  • ERP System Support: Assist with data entry and basic troubleshooting within the ERP system to support manufacturing operations.

  • Inventory Assistance: Support monthly inventory processes, including data entry and basic reconciliation of physical and virtual inventory.

  • Customer and Vendor Interaction: Handle inquiries from clients, vendors, and visitors, providing professional and timely responses.

  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to company policies and manufacturing industry regulations, including health and safety standards.

Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.

  • Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of administrative experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably CNC or similar.

  • Skills:

    • Strong organizational and time-management skills.

    • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

    • Basic understanding of accounting principles, including general ledger familiarity.

    • Familiarity with manufacturing processes and terminology.
