Field Diesel Technician – Heavy Equipment & Fleet
Location: Victoria, TX
Pay: $20.00+ DOE
Express Employment Professionals is seeking an experienced Field Diesel Technician for one of our local clients that services heavy construction and industrial equipment. This role is primarily field-based, with some shop support as needed, and focuses on keeping equipment running safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance on heavy equipment and fleet vehicles in the field

Service equipment such as excavators, wheel loaders, compactors, and other diesel-powered machinery

Troubleshoot and repair engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, brakes, drivetrains, and suspension systems

Read and interpret inspection reports, condition reports, and repair orders

Communicate clearly with supervisors and equipment operators regarding issues and recommended maintenance

Maintain accurate service documentation and follow all safety procedures
Qualifications:
-
3+ years of diesel or heavy equipment repair experience preferred

Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills
-
Must have your own tools

Ability to work independently in the field

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
