Full Job Description
Are you looking to build a long-term career in quality control within the concrete and construction industry?
We are hiring a Q/C Check Technician for a growing concrete company. This is a trainable, entry-level to intermediate role where you will start by shadowing experienced Q/C staff and learning inspection processes, testing procedures, and documentation standards.
As you grow in the role, you’ll have the opportunity to earn certifications through testing, with a $1/hour raise for each certification obtained, creating a clear path for pay increases and career advancement.
Essential Functions

Assist with inspecting concrete products and materials for quality and compliance

Perform basic testing and measurements under supervision

Document results and maintain accurate quality records

Support troubleshooting and reporting of defects or issues

Follow company and safety procedures at all times

Work closely with production and yard teams

Maintain a clean and organized work area

Perform other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Willingness to learn quality control processes and certifications

Strong attention to detail and documentation skills

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

Basic math and measurement skills

Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented mindset

Comfortable working in an industrial or outdoor environment
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:

Construction, manufacturing, or industrial experience is a plus, but not required

Ability to pass certification testing as required
Physical Requirements

Ability to stand, walk, and work on your feet for extended periods

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Ability to work in outdoor and industrial environments

Good hand-eye coordination and physical stamina
