Full Job Description
We are hiring a Heavy Equipment Operator to support concrete production and yard operations. This role focuses on safely operating equipment to move materials, maintain site efficiency, and support daily production goals. Long-term opportunities and advancement available.
Essential Functions
• Operate loaders, 90K forklifts, skid steers, or similar equipment
• Load, move, and stage materials safely
• Perform basic equipment inspections
• Follow safety and site procedures
• Support yard and production operations
• Maintain clean and organized work areas
• Report equipment or safety concerns
Skills & Competencies
• Safe equipment operation
• Site awareness and spatial coordination
• Material handling and staging
• Preventative maintenance basics
• Teamwork and communication
• Reliability and time management
• Basic mechanical knowledge
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
1+ year of equipment operation experience preferred
Valid driver’s license preferred
Ability to pass background and drug screening
Physical Requirements
Ability to climb on and off equipment safely
Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
