Full Job Description
We are hiring Roof Decking / Hopper Associates for a modular home manufacturer in Cuero, TX. This position works in a structured indoor production environment building residential structures year-round — no weather delays or rain-outs.
Candidates must have experience laying roofing shingles and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
Essential Functions
• Install and lay roofing shingles accurately and efficiently
• Assist with roof decking and hopper operations
• Measure, cut, and fit roofing materials
• Ensure proper alignment and secure installation
• Use hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Maintain quality and safety standards
Skills & Competencies
• Proven experience with roofing shingles
• Knowledge of roofing tools and materials
• Ability to read measurements and follow instructions
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Ability to work in a production-based environment
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
• Experience laying roofing shingles
• Ability to perform physical labor and work at heights
Preferred:
• Experience in residential or modular construction
• Production roofing background
Physical Requirements
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to stand, bend, and move throughout the shift
• Ability to work safely at heights
