Full Job Description
We are hiring an experienced Drywall Installer for a modular home manufacturer in Cuero, TX. This position works in a structured indoor production environment building residential homes year-round — no weather delays or rain-outs.
This role focuses on properly attaching drywall panels and preparing surfaces for the mudding and finishing process in a fast-paced production setting.
Essential Functions
• Measure, cut, and install drywall panels
• Secure drywall to framing accurately
• Ensure surfaces are properly prepared for mudding
• Follow blueprints and layout specifications
• Maintain quality and safety standards
• Work efficiently to meet production goals
Skills & Competencies
• Proven drywall installation experience
• Ability to read a measuring tape accurately
• Familiarity with drywall tools and equipment
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work in a production-based environment
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
• Experience installing drywall
• Ability to perform physical labor throughout the shift
Preferred:
• Residential or modular construction experience
• Production framing background
Physical Requirements
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to stand, bend, and move throughout the shift
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
