Job Description:
We are looking for a dependable and hardworking Apprentice Plumber to join our client’s team in Cuero, TX for a start-up modular homes project. The right candidate will assist with all phases of plumbing installation and help support the lead plumber on-site. If you have hands-on plumbing experience, enjoy working with tools, and want to grow your skills in the trade, we’d like to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the installation of plumbing systems and components.
- Run water, drain, and vent lines throughout the homes.
- Install sinks, toilets, faucets, tubs, and other plumbing fixtures.
- Read blueprints and follow layouts for proper plumbing installation.
- Test plumbing systems for leaks and proper operation.
- Troubleshoot plumbing issues and assist with repairs as needed.
- Follow all safety procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
- Work alongside the plumbing team to complete tasks efficiently and on schedule.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a plumbing helper, apprentice plumber, or similar role preferred.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing systems, pipe fitting, and fixtures.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints or technical drawings.
- Familiarity with plumbing tools and equipment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and ability to follow directions.
- Physical stamina to stand, climb, bend, and lift for extended periods.
- Reliable, punctual, and strong work ethic.
