Oilfield Dispatcher / Operations Coordinator
Express Employment Professionals is seeking a dependable and organized Dispatcher/Operations Coordinator to coordinate field employees, drivers, equipment, and customer service requests.
The ideal candidate can make quick decisions, solve problems, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Answer customer calls and determine service or equipment needs.
- Schedule and dispatch drivers and field employees.
- Provide accurate job details, including schedules, locations, equipment, PPE, and safety requirements.
- Track employees, trucks, and equipment.
- Ensure driver schedules comply with DOT and FMCSA regulations.
- Communicate with customers, employees, vendors, and other company locations.
- Prepare field tickets, manifests, bills of lading, receipts, reports, and billing documents.
- Handle customer concerns and resolve service issues.
- Coordinate equipment repairs, roadside assistance, permits, deliveries, supplies, and inventory.
- Assist with accident or incident reports and new-employee training.
- Help monitor the facility during assigned after-hours, weekend, or holiday shifts.
Qualifications
- Dispatching, transportation, oilfield, logistics, or operations experience preferred.
- DOT and FMCSA knowledge preferred.
- Strong communication, organization, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
- Comfortable directing drivers and field employees.
- Basic computer, paperwork, and math skills.
- Able to work independently and communicate clearly in English.
Work Environment
This is primarily an office position but may occasionally require walking outside to locate or inspect equipment. After-hours, weekend, or holiday availability may be required.
