Sample Processing & Data Entry Technician
Looking for someone who doesn't mind switching between a computer and getting their hands dirty!
We are hiring a dependable, detail-oriented individual for a unique dual-role position that combines data entry work with hands-on mud sample processing.
This is NOT a traditional desk-only data entry position. The right person needs to be equally comfortable working on a computer and handling and processing mud samples.
What You'll Do
Your day may include:

Entering information accurately into the computer system

Reviewing data for accuracy and completeness

Performing general data entry and administrative tasks
-
Receiving and handling mud samples
-
Using cheesecloth to squeeze/remove water from samples
-
Laying samples out and preparing them for drying
-
Packaging dried samples into boxes
-
Preparing samples to be shipped out
-
Keeping the sample processing area clean and organized
-
Switching between data entry and sample processing depending on workload

Important — Please Read
This position truly involves both sides of the job.
There will be times when you are primarily performing data entry and other times when you will be physically processing mud samples. Candidates should be comfortable and willing to perform both responsibilities regularly.
