NOW HIRING: Cable Assembly Technician
Shift: First Shift — 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM
Pay: $17–$18 per hour (based on experience)
Employment Type: Full-Time
About the Position
We are seeking a detail-oriented Cable Assembly Technician to join our production team. In this role, you will assist with assembling and testing cables, supporting production, and ensuring product quality. This is a hands-on position ideal for someone with good attention to detail and basic computer skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Connect cables to testing machines to verify function and continuity
- Perform basic testing and inspection of cable assemblies
- Assist with cable assembly and repairs as needed
- Troubleshoot and help resolve production issues related to cables
- Accurately document testing results using computer systems
- Follow work instructions, quality standards, and safety procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements
- Ability to perform detailed, repetitive work
- Basic computer skills for data entry and test documentation
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn cable assembly processes
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to stand, sit, and use hands for extended periods during shift
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in cable assembly, electronics, or manufacturing
- Familiarity with fiber optic cables or testing equipment (a plus, but not required)
