Position Overview
The Customer Service Representative serves as the first point of contact for customers and plays a key role in ensuring a smooth delivery experience. This position handles inquiries, order entry, scheduling support, and communication between customers, drivers, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer customer calls, emails, and messages regarding delivery requests, service options, pricing, and shipment status.
- Enter and update delivery orders with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Coordinate with dispatch and drivers to confirm pickup times, delivery instructions, and route changes.
- Provide timely updates to customers regarding delays, delivery confirmations, or any issues requiring follow-up.
- Resolve customer concerns professionally while maintaining a strong focus on service quality.
- Verify customer account information, billing details, and service requirements.
- Assist with tracking packages to ensure timely delivery.
- Communicate service interruptions or escalated issues to supervisors or management.
- Support general office duties such as filing, documentation, and data entry.
Qualifications
- Previous customer service experience, preferably in courier, logistics, transportation, or a service-driven environment.
- Strong verbal communication and phone etiquette.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting while maintaining accuracy.
- Basic computer skills and comfort working with dispatch or order-management systems.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to remain calm during time-sensitive situations.
Pay $18/hr
Hours Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm
