Machine Operator – Training on 1st Shift
Starting Pay: $20.00/hr
Pay Increase: +$3.00/hr after first 30 days based on satisfactory production and performance
Schedule:
- Training (first 30 days): 1st Shift — 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM
- Post-Training: Transition to 2nd Shift (2:00 PM to 10:00 PM) or 3rd Shift (10:00 PM to 6:00 AM)
(Shift assignment based on production needs)
Position Overview:
We are looking for a dependable Machine Operator to support day-to-day manufacturing operations. This role requires mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to learn and safely operate industrial equipment after hands-on training.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate, set up, and shut down production machinery safely and efficiently.
- Perform machine adjustments, changeovers, and routine cleanings.
- Inspect materials and monitor product quality during production runs.
- Troubleshoot basic issues and minimize machine downtime.
- Maintain accurate production logs and follow standard operating procedures.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
Skills & Experience:
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to use basic hand tools.
- Ability to follow written instructions and safety procedures.
- Basic computer competency for documentation and reporting.
- Prior manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
