Welder Day Shift June 26, 2025

Located in Poulsbo, WA

Pay: $18.00 to start

Overview: Seeking full time, long term welders for Poulsbo manufacturer.

JOB DUTIES:

May include but not limited to the following:

Follow all PPE and safety rules and regulations as set by Watson including affected lock out tag out procedures
Use common hand and power tools for manufacturing activities including but not limited to cutting, grinding, drilling, cleaning, measuring, inspecting, assembling, etc
Meet or exceed productivity expectations as assigned by production leadership
Examine products to verify compliance to quality standards
Communicate with other employees and management to avoid any mistakes and/or to address recommendations for improvement
Follow safety requirements and maintaining a clean and organized work area
Performs MIG* welding and functional / cosmetic grinding of steel assemblies
Inspects parts to production prints and set-up
Assist in jig and fixture set-up
Performs operator level maintenance of welding torch and machine
All other responsibilities within reason as assigned by production leadership

REQUIREMENTS:

Welding experience preferred
How to work in a required sequence to ensure alignment of the production schedule
How to use basic power and hand tools
Ability to interpret moderate to advanced 3 dimensional images and drawings
A willingness to learn the Watson Production System
All other procedures and policies as assigned by production leadership

Hours/Shift: 6:30am-3:00pm Monday-Friday, regular overtime as needed until 5pm weekdays and Saturdays.

Pay: $18 hr. Completion of proficiency in TIG assessment grants eligibility for wage premium
