Kristal Thomas is the Owner and CEO of Express Employment Professionals serving Kitsap, Clallam, and Jefferson Counties. For more than 13 years, she has helped businesses build stronger teams, solve workforce challenges, and create sustainable growth through strategic hiring and people centered leadership.
With nearly 30 years of experience in leadership, sales, employee development, and business operations, Kristal brings a practical, results driven approach to helping employers navigate today's workplace challenges. While staffing is a core part of what she does, her passion lies in serving as a trusted business partner for local organizations. She works alongside business owners and leaders to strengthen communication, improve hiring strategies, navigate HR compliance concerns, resolve workplace conflict, develop staffing plans, and build healthy, engaged teams.
As a longtime member of the Kitsap community, Kristal is deeply invested in the success of local businesses and the people who power them. She believes strong businesses create strong communities and is committed to helping both thrive together. Her focus is always on building lasting partnerships, providing practical solutions, and helping organizations move from reacting to workforce challenges to planning strategically for growth.
Kristal is a Certified Working Genius Facilitator and a Certified Trauma Informed Trainer. She combines these specialties with her experience in resilient leadership, team engagement, communication, and burnout prevention to help organizations create workplaces where people and businesses can succeed. She regularly works with leadership teams, business owners, and community organizations to provide training, facilitation, and workforce development support.
Outside of the office, Kristal remains actively involved in the community supporting local non-profits. She also maintains active memberships with several local and industry organizations, reflecting her ongoing commitment to strengthening business throughout the region.
