Job Full Description
Overview: Ride along on different Kitsap County Bus Routes collecting ridership data to validate compliance of electronic counters.
JOB DUTIES:
May include but not limited to the following:
- Accurate Data Collection and recording
- Familiarity with routes and landmarks
- Able to accurately count amid distractions
REQUIREMENTS:
- Reliable and punctual
- Basic math skills
- Must be able to ride the bus for up to two hours at a time
- Write short words and numbers
- Able to notate landmarks from a moving vehicle
- Data Entry into app on electronic tablet or paper spreadsheet
- Ability to avoid distractions from other passengers.
Hours/Shift:
Part time, 20 per week. Must have availability Monday through Friday between 4:00am-10:00pm and Weekends 7:00am-9:00pm, shift times vary depending on assigned route; shifts could be up to 6 hours long. Schedule is put out bi-weekly.
Pay:
$18.00 / hour
