Job Full Description
Overview: A locally, family-owned moving company is seeking highly motivated, energetic self-starters to join their team as General Laborers. This role is hands-on and plays a key part in keeping moving operations running smoothly. The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, is adaptable, enjoys physical work, and takes pride in providing great customer service.
JOB DUTIES:
May include but not limited to the following:
- Assist with loading and unloading household and commercial items
- Safely handle furniture, boxes, and equipment
- Organize moving equipment, tools, and supplies
- Perform general clean-up of trucks, jobsites, and warehouse areas
- Support team members to ensure efficient and timely moves
- Follow safety procedures and company guidelines at all times
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a labor-intensive role or in moving services
- Ability to lift up to 75lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
- Strong teamwork, communication, and problem solving skills
- Dependable, punctual, and able to follow directions
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to stand, lift, bend, and move for extended periods
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions
- Willingness to work potential overtime, especially during busy seasons
Pay: $18.50-$22.00/hour DOE
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30-4:00
