Overview:
Express Employment Professionals is currently hiring a Welder for a well-established fencing company serving Western Washington. This company specializes in high-quality residential and commercial fencing solutions, including custom fabrication with materials such as steel and ornamental iron. This is a great opportunity for a skilled welder who takes pride in craftsmanship and enjoys working in a fast-paced shop and field environment.
Job Duties:
- Fabricate and weld metal fencing components such as gates, panels, and structural supports
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project specifications
- Measure, cut, and assemble materials to meet precise dimensions
- Perform MIG, TIG, or stick welding on steel, iron, or aluminum materials
- Grind, sand, and finish metal surfaces for final installation
- Inspect completed welds to ensure quality, durability, and compliance with specifications
- Operate welding equipment, hand tools, and fabrication machinery safely
- Assist with installation of fencing components when needed
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Requirements:
- Previous welding and fabrication experience required
- Ability to read blueprints and follow technical drawings
- Knowledge of welding methods and equipment (MIG, TIG, Stick)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physical labor
- Comfortable working in a shop and outdoor environment as needed
- Reliable transportation and strong attendance record
- Ability to follow safety procedures and work as part of a team
Hours/Shift:
Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Pay:
$24.50 – $36.00 per hour DOE
