Overview:  

We are seeking an experienced Landscape Crew Lead to oversee landscape construction projects and lead a field crew in delivering high-quality outdoor installations. This role requires a hands-on leader with strong construction knowledge, the ability to manage crew productivity, and a commitment to safety and customer satisfaction. Projects include retaining walls, irrigation systems, grading, and landscape installations for new construction and renovation projects.

 

JOB DUTIES:

May include but not limited to the following:

  • Lead and supervise landscape construction crews on residential and commercial projects. 
  • Coordinate daily job site activities to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within quality standards. 
  • Install and oversee construction of retaining walls, paver systems, irrigation systems, drainage solutions, and landscape features. 
  • Read and interpret landscape plans, blueprints, and project specifications. 
  • Operate and train crew members on the safe use of landscape construction equipment and tools. 
  • Ensure proper site preparation, grading, excavation, and material installation. 
  • Monitor crew performance and provide coaching, guidance, and training. 
  • Conduct daily safety meetings and enforce company safety policies and procedures. 
  • Communicate project progress, material needs, and job site concerns to management. 
  • Maintain equipment, tools, and vehicles in clean and operational condition. 
  • Ensure all work meets company quality standards and client expectations. 

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of landscape construction experience. 
  • Minimum 1 year of leadership, supervisory, or crew lead experience. 
  • Experience installing retaining walls, irrigation systems, and landscape features on new construction projects. 
  • Ability to read and follow landscape plans and specifications. 
  • Knowledge of grading, excavation, and drainage practices. 
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. 
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. 
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. 
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly. 
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and work on uneven terrain throughout the workday. 
  • Ability to safely operate landscape construction equipment and hand tools. 
  • Ability to work outdoors for extended periods in varying weather conditions. 
  • Must have Chemical Applicators License

Hours/Shift:
Monday-Friday form 7:00am-4:00pm

 

Pay:
$ 27-$37/ hour DOE
