Job Full Description
Overview: A local feed and equipment supply store is seeking a dependable and customer-focused Sales & Service Associate to join their team.
JOB DUTIES:
May include but not limited to the following:
- Assisting customers at the front counter
- Selling new equipment
- Looking up parts and answering customer inquiries
- Answering phone calls
- Checking in parts and equipment for repair
- Restocking shelves
- Cleaning and organizing the showroom and work areas
- Loading and unloading equipment (e.g., chainsaws, lawn mowers)
- Performing other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Basic mechanical knowledge
- Friendly, professional, and approachable demeanor
- Customer service experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to climb stairs
- Availability to work Saturdays
- Comfortable using a computer
- Willingness to learn and take on new tasks
Hours/Shift:
9:00am-5:30pm, 5 days per week. Saturday availability is required.
Pay:
$18-$20 / hour DOE
