Job Full Description
Overview: Express Employment Professionals is recruiting for a Full-Time Lawn & Garden Mechanic for a local Bremerton-area employer. We are seeking an experienced and motivated individual who enjoys troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining outdoor power equipment in a fast-paced shop environment.
JOB DUTIES:
- Inspect and diagnose equipment issues accurately
- Repair and maintain riding lawn mowers, walk-behind mowers, rototillers, edgers, chainsaws, and two-cycle equipment
- Complete repairs efficiently in a high-volume work environment
- Assist with customer service when needed
- Load and unload equipment safely
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace
- Research and identify replacement parts using parts databases and online systems
- Follow company procedures and safety guidelines
Requirements:
- Previous experience repairing lawn and garden equipment required
- Ability to lift 50-75 lbs. as needed
- Strong physical stamina
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Self-motivated, dependable, and detail-oriented
- Willingness to assist customers during busy periods
- Basic computer skills required
Hours/Shift:
Full-time, 40 hours per week, 5-day work week. Days off would be 1 weekday and Sundays; Saturday availability is required.
Pay:
$23-$34/ hour
