Job Full Description
Front Office Coordinator
With Recruiter Growth Opportunity
Build a Career Helping People Succeed
Are you technologically confident, naturally helpful, and comfortable managing several priorities at once?
Do you enjoy solving problems, talking with people, and working toward measurable goals?
Our locally owned Express Employment Professionals office in Kitsap County is looking for a Front Office Coordinator who wants more than a front desk position. We are looking for someone with the potential and desire to grow into a recruiter role within three to six months.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is hungry to grow, humble enough to learn, and smart about working with people. You will be the first point of contact for job seekers, associates, clients, and visitors. Your ability to create a welcoming and professional experience will have a direct impact on our team and the people we serve.
What You Will Do
As our Front Office Coordinator, you will help keep a busy staffing office organized, responsive, and moving forward.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Welcoming job seekers, associates, clients, and visitors with warmth and professionalism
- Managing multiple phone lines, emails, messages, texts and in person requests
- Explaining our application, interview, and hiring process clearly
- Reviewing incoming applications and scheduling interview appointments
- Entering and maintaining accurate applicant and associate information
- Posting job opportunities online and through social media platforms
- Learning and using multiple technology systems throughout the day
- Assisting with recruiting, payroll, onboarding, and other office priorities
- Handling confidential information with care and good judgment
- Following Express procedures and applicable employment requirements
- Recognizing urgent needs, setting priorities, and following through without needing constant direction
The Growth Opportunity
We want to develop the right person into a successful recruiter.
During your first several months, you will learn how our office attracts candidates, evaluates applicants, fills client orders, supports associates, and builds long-term business relationships. Team members who demonstrate strong performance, sound judgment, sales aptitude, and consistent follow-through may be considered for advancement into a recruiter position within three to six months.
Growth will be based on readiness, performance, business needs, and the ability to successfully handle increasing responsibility.
You May Be a Great Fit If You Are
- Technologically confident and quick to learn new systems
- Friendly and approachable while still able to take control of a situation
- Comfortable talking with people by phone, email, text, video, and in person
- Strong in customer service and interested in developing sales and recruiting skills
- Organized, accurate, and able to manage competing priorities
- Calm and professional when the office gets busy
- Motivated by goals, progress, and measurable results
- Willing to ask questions, accept feedback, and continue learning
- Able to notice what needs to be done and take appropriate action
- Dependable and committed to doing what you say you will do
- Interested in building a career rather than simply finding your next job
We often describe our ideal team member as hungry, humble, and smart. Hungry means you are motivated and want to improve. Humble means you are coachable and willing to help wherever needed. Smart means you understand people, communicate thoughtfully, and use good judgment.
Experience and Skills
We are open to experience gained through different industries and career paths. A traditional staffing background is not required.
Successful candidates will generally have:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Customer service, office, hospitality, retail, sales, or other people focused experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfort with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and online systems
- Accurate data entry and strong attention to detail
- The ability to learn new software and move comfortably between several platforms
- Professional judgment when working with confidential information
Experience with recruiting, scheduling, social media, customer relationship systems, or phone-based sales is helpful but not required.
