Job Full Description
Overview: Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Temporary Maintenance Technician for a local apartment community in Bremerton, WA. This position is expected to last at least two weeks and may be extended based on workload. We are looking for a dependable individual with property maintenance, handyman, carpentry, or general maintenance experience who can efficiently complete work orders and assist with apartment turns.
JOB DUTIES:
May include but not limited to the following:
- Complete resident maintenance work orders in a timely manner
- Assist with apartment turns and unit preparation for new residents
- Perform general carpentry and handyman repairs
- Repair or replace fixtures, doors, hardware, cabinets, and drywall as needed
- Complete minor plumbing and maintenance tasks
- Maintain grounds and common areas as directed
- Use hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Ensure work areas are clean, organized, and safe
- Communicate status updates and completed repairs to property management
Requirements:
- Previous apartment maintenance, property maintenance, handyman, carpentry, or related experience required
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., bend, kneel, climb stairs, and perform physical labor throughout the workday
- Ability to pass background check
Hours/Shift:
Tuesday-Saturday, 8:30 AM-5:30 PM
Pay:
$22.00/hour
