Pay: $25+/hour (dependent on experience)

We are a growing property management company specializing in affordable housing. With a commitment to providing high-quality living environments, we are seeking a dependable and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. Position Overview:
The Maintenance Technician will handle home repair and troubleshooting for a portfolio of 120–150 units. This is a full-time position requiring a hands-on, problem-solving approach to various maintenance tasks. You will perform light repairs, determine when to outsource larger projects, and work closely with tenants while ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and professionally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshooting: Address a variety of issues, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical, to determine if they require light maintenance or professional outsourcing.
- Light Plumbing: Repair drains, replace faucets, shower heads, and sinks.
- Light Carpentry: Install doors, repair trim, and complete drywall tasks.
- Tenant Interaction: Communicate respectfully with tenants, maintaining a balance between professionalism and productivity.
- Collaboration: Work alongside three other maintenance technicians in a supportive team environment.
- On-Call Rotation: Be available every third week for on-call responsibilities, which include addressing maintenance requests across multiple properties. During on-call weeks, you will receive time-and-a-half pay plus an additional $100.
Qualifications:
- 2–3 years of maintenance or related experience (preferred).
- A strong "get-it-done" attitude with a commitment to high-quality work.
- Comfortable entering tenants’ homes and interacting respectfully with residents.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Familiarity with affordable housing environments is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive salary (based on experience).
- $5,000 annual healthcare stipend.
- Paid Time Off: 18 days per year (144 hours), accruing.
- Time-and-a-half pay plus a $100 stipend during on-call weeks.

Reporting Structure:
This role reports directly to the Property Manager.
