Panel Technician Job Highlights:

Panel Technician Job Summary:
As a Panel Technician, you will be responsible for assembling, wiring, and troubleshooting electrical control panels and enclosures. This role involves mounting components, routing and bundling wires, performing point-to-point wiring, and ensuring all work meets industry standards. You will collaborate with fabricators, other assemblers, and project managers to ensure accuracy, quality, and efficiency in panel fabrication. Strong attention to detail, problem solving skills, and the ability to meet deadlines are essential for success in this position.
Panel Technician Key Duties:
- Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and schematics
- Mount electrical components onto panels and enclosures using hand tools
- Perform point-to-point wiring of components
- Route and bundle wires and cables neatly to meet industry wiring standards
- Identify and troubleshoot wiring errors or component malfunctions in panels
- Ensure a high standard of quality, accuracy, and attention to detail in all tasks
Panel Technician Qualifications:
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in an electrical assembly position ideal, but not required
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required, technical training in electrical or industrial systems is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend the English language
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity
- Standing and/or sitting for extended periods of time
