Framer Job Summary:
As a Framer you will be responsible for building and installing structural frameworks for residential and commercial buildings.
Framer Duties:
· Measure, cut, and assemble wood or metal framing materials.
· Build walls, floors, ceilings, and roof frames.
· Read and follow blueprints and construction plans.
· Use hand tools and power tools safely.
· Ensure framing is level, square, and structurally sound.
· Follow workplace safety procedures and meet project deadlines
Framer Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
· Previous experience in framing, general construction, or carpentry is preferred.
· Knowledge of framing techniques, materials, and construction methods.
· Ability to read and interpret blueprints and building plans.
· Skilled in measuring, cutting, and assembling wood or metal framing.
· Ability to safely operate hand tools and power tools.
· Knowledge of building codes and workplace safety regulations.
· Good physical fitness and ability to lift heavy materials.
· Forklift experience is a plus.
· Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Reliable, punctual, and able to meet project deadlines.
· Willingness to work at heights and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
· Candidates must bring their own tools to the job -- tool belt, claw hammer, measure tape, mini cat’s paw (nail puller/pry bar), utility knife, snips, gloves, speed square, construction pencils
