Job Full Description
Express Employment is looking to fill an ASSEMBLER AND PACKAGING positions for a great aluminum extrusion company in Withee!
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Required to read work orders, execute written/verbal instructions and record production data.
- 100% inspects work pieces for cosmetic appearance and obvious non-conformities.
- Assembles parts or wrap work pieces in appropriate packing materials.
- Ability to use various tools such as tape measure, height gauge, caliper or square to verify against specifications.
- Responsible for cleanliness of work area and the general housekeeping of the department.
- Ensure quality of parts before forwarding to the next operation.
- Other duties as assigned.
Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Previous manufacturing experience preferred but not required.
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to stand for entire shift.
- Must be able to lift 10, 25 and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to work in a warm environment.
