Do you enjoy physical, hands on work... then we have a client looking for you! We have a local manufacturing facility looking to add additional team members to their crew.
Responsibilities
- Cut lumber accurately to meet production specifications
- Assemble trusses using hand tools, power tools, and automated equipment
- Read and follow work orders and production schedules
- Ensure precise placement of lumber and plates during assembly
- Operate forklifts to move materials and trusses around the yard and warehouse
- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Follow safety procedures and contribute to a positive, team-oriented environment
Qualifications
- A positive team player who maintains a helpful, courteous attitude with team members and clients. Who shows up on time, works steadily, and keeps production moving to meet deadlines without sacrificing quality.
- Someone who monitors compromised components, removes them from production, and always strives to deliver the best product on time.
- Someone who identifies and shares ideas for improving quality and efficiency, while monitoring compromised components, removing them from production, while striving to deliver the best product on time.
- 1+ years in production or manufacturing preferred; forklift experience and basic computer skills are a plus, but not required.
- Our client is wants a team member who uses good judgment, takes initiative, and is willing to learn and improve skills. They also need to be able to stand for extended periods, bend, kneel, lift up to 50 lbs., and work outdoors in various conditions.
