A growing Milwaukee foundry is looking to add a Maintenance Technician to their team! All Shifts are available!
Overview
The company is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician with experience in facility and manufacturing equipment maintenance. The position focuses on keeping production equipment and facilities operating safely and efficiently through repairs, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.
Key Duties
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment, systems, and buildings.
- Troubleshoot and repair:
- Mechanical systems
- Electrical systems
- Plumbing systems
- HVAC equipment
- Conduct hands-on repairs of manufacturing equipment.
- Operate forklifts and skid loaders (training provided).
- Work collaboratively with production and maintenance teams to minimize downtime.
Preferred Experience
- Facilities maintenance or industrial maintenance experience.
- Experience with:
- Hydraulics
- Heavy mechanical equipment
- Light industrial mechanical systems
- Compressed air systems
- Plumbing
- Ability to use electrical testing equipment such as amp meters, voltmeters, or Fluke meters.
- Experience with wax injection presses, sand blast units, older robotics, and induction melt furnaces is considered a plus.
