Bilingual Landscaping Crew Leader – West Milwaukee, WI (Full-Time)
A rapidly growing West Milwaukee landscaping company is seeking an experienced Bilingual Landscaping Crew Leader (English/Spanish) to oversee a landscape maintenance crew. This hands‑on leadership role requires strong communication, the ability to motivate a team, and a commitment to high‑quality outdoor maintenance work.
As a Crew Leader, you will direct daily operations, ensure job sites are completed safely and efficiently, and work alongside your crew to maintain customer properties to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, supervise, and motivate a landscape maintenance crew on a daily basis
- Work hands‑on with the team performing mowing, trimming, edging, pruning, weeding, mulching, and seasonal clean‑ups
- Safely operate and manage a truck and trailer
- Communicate regularly with the Supervisor and Account Manager regarding job progress, site conditions, and customer needs
- Train new and existing crew members in proper landscaping techniques and safety procedures
- Assist with equipment upkeep, including blade changes, oil changes, and cleaning of trucks, trailers, and tools
- Ensure completion of work within scheduled timelines and production goals
- Maintain professional conduct and promote a positive team environment
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of landscape maintenance experience
- Prior crew leader or leadership experience required
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred and highly valued)
- Valid driver’s license required
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) required
- Strong communication, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for 4–8 hours
- Comfortable working outdoors in heat, cold, rain, and changing weather conditions
- Ability to manage time, delegate tasks, and maintain high productivity on job sites
