Job Full Description
A growing Milwaukee production facility is looking for a Forklift Operator on the day shift. Job requirements and experience are as follows:
- Safely operate forklifts and other powered industrial equipment to move materials and products.
- Load and unload trucks, trailers, and containers efficiently while preventing product damage.
- Verify incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy against shipping documents.
- Stage, organize, and transport freight within the warehouse and dock.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous forklift operating experience required.
- Forklift certification preferred or ability to obtain certification upon hire.
- Experience working in a warehouse, distribution center, or shipping/receiving environment preferred.
- Basic math and computer skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
