Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals is recruiting for an Accounts Receivable Clerk. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to multi-task and possess strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
Pay: $18.00-$20.00/hour
Responsibilities
- Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department
- Assist with processing tenant payments, ensuring proper posting with backup documentation
- Assist with the maintaining Vendor/Landlords W-9 records
- Assist with Time and Attendance and Payroll processing.
- Provide customer service to vendors, employees and tenants, research status of accounts and discrepancies, work with outside vendors and staff to correct errors and resolve issues
- Maintain systematic filing of Accounts Receivable and other documents
- Maintain strict standards of confidentiality for all sensitive information;
Skills
- Proven accounting experience, preferably as an Accounts receivable clerk
- Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures
- Competency in MS Office, databases, and accounting software
- Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and financial reports
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to perform filing and record-keeping tasks
- Associate’s degree or relevant certification is preferred
