Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals is currently recruiting for a Logistics Coordinator! As the Logistics Coordinator, you are responsible for ensuring loads are efficiently scheduled and maintaining relationships with new and existing carriers.
Pay Rate: $24.00 - $27.00/hr. DOE
Job Responsibilities
- Tender out loads to carriers
- Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing carriers
- Ensure POs are scheduled to ship and deliver on time
- Resolve/find solutions to problems related to transportation/logistics systems
- Prepare shipments documents
- Work with Warehouse Manager to fulfill POs and ensure shipment accuracy
- Assist in managing daily freight schedules
Job Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in logistics/shipping or a related field
- Strong multi-tasking skills
- Computer-savvy, previous experience with EDI and TMS a plus
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent organization and communication skills
- Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes
