The
role
The accountant analyzes financial statements
and other documents, including bank statements and tax returns, to ensure
companies comply with the Canadian Tax Act and Canadian accounting standards.

Experience: 5 years of experience as a financial accountant, served twice as
an interim controller
Education: Bachelors in Accounting
Software: MS Dynamics 365, Great Plains, Simply Accounting, SAGE 50,
Truckmate, CDK and Accpac
Background:
- Responsible for financial reports, AR
analysis, preparation for audit, monthly/bank reconciliations, journal entries
and assisting with year end reporting directly to Accounting Manager
- Responsible for assisting in payroll
processing (80 employees), source deductions, WCB reconciliations, GL account
reconciliations, GST/PST processing and maintaining of employee benefits
- Responsible for preparation of sales
commission and daily cash flow analysis
Experienced with ERP software implementation including AP,AR,GL and financial
statements
