CNC Machinist
The role
The CNC operator programs,
runs, and monitors computer-numeric-controlled machines. The set up and operate
metal-cutting machinery to build tools and parts of various machinery. Their responsibilities
include understanding blueprints, design creation, cutting metal and
manipulating it, as well conduction routine maintenance of machinery.

as a Journeyman Machinist
Background:
- 20+ years as a Journeyman
Machinist – Manual and CNC lathe, milling machines, horizontal boring and drill
presses
- 3 years’
operating/programming CNC lathes (Mainly Haas controls)
- Has worked specifically
pumps parts, machining, stress relieving etc.
- 20+ years’ experience
operating forklift
- 20+ years’ experience
operating overhead crane, largest 60 ton crane, 20 foot long pieces
