The role
The heavy-duty mechanic
repairs, troubleshoots, adjusts, overhauls, and maintains mobile heavy-duty construction
equipment. They inspect engines, diagnose and repair faults, perform routine
maintenance and dismantle and reassemble components.

Experience: Over 10 years as a Red Seal Journey Heavy
Duty Mechanic
Background:
- 10 years’ experience as a
Diesel Mechanic with on road experience on truck and trailer
- Valid CVIP License and
class 3 license
- Electrical diagnostics and
engines codes on CAT, Cummins, and International engines
- Also experienced with
rebuilds, removal and replacements of engines, clutches, and differential
- 8 years’ experience as
Lead Hand supervising a crew of mechanics and assigning work
