    The role

    The payroll & benefits administrator is responsible for timely and accurate delivery of payroll and benefit updates, including preparing Records of Employment and other full-cycle payroll procedures.

    Experience: 5+ years of Payroll & Benefits experience; PCP in progress

    Software: ADP Workforce Now, Pay at Work, People at Work, Ceridian Insync, JD Edwards, and Infinium HR

    Background:

    • Responsible for processing payroll for 250 to 600 hourly, and salaried employees on a weekly and bi-weekly basis using Pay at Work and Dayforce Workforce Now. Union and non-union. AB, BC, SK and ON
    • Responsible for administering and maintaining benefits for 6 companies. Processed year-end reports and balance payroll for T4
    • Oversaw 3 payroll administrators and assisted Payroll Manager with completing weekly payroll
    • Created spreadsheets for reconciliations for benefits, source deduction balances for T4 purposes. This included uploaded information from ADP into an excel spreadsheet for requested reports by Management (i.e. hours worked)
